The next day, Grandma and Tom met at the park. Grandma brought a small piece of cloth with her and said, "Tom, this is a tie. It's a long piece of cloth that you can tie around your neck to look like a real gentleman." Tom looked at the tie and said, "Wow, this looks so cool!"
Grandma then began to show Tom how to tie a tie. She said, "Tom, first you need to take the long end of the tie and make a loop. Then you need to take the short end of the tie and pass it through the loop. After that, you just need to tighten it up and make sure it's not too tight or too loose."
Tom followed Grandma's instructions and soon enough, he had tied his first tie! He looked in the mirror and said, "Wow, I look so handsome!" Grandma smiled and said, "Tom, you look great! I'm so proud of you for learning how to tie a tie all by yourself."
Tom was so happy that he could finally wear his favorite color tie to school without any help from his mother. He ran back home and told his mother the good news. His mother said, "Tom, I'm so glad that you were able to learn how to tie a tie from Grandma. She's such a wonderful teacher and I know you'll do great things with your newfound skill."
From that day on, Tom wore his favorite color tie every day to school and he felt so confident and stylish. He also knew that if he ever needed help with anything else, Grandma would always be there to assist him.
